Happy Moxielicious Monday!
Are you ready to fire up your mindset for the day and week ahead?
First things first – read the affirmation out loud.
Now, repeat it.
Lioness, are you paying attention to your self-talk?
Negative self-talk is not humility. It’s self-defeat. So if you have been hiding behind that excuse – it’s time to leave it in the past. It’s a toxic habit that crushes your divine right to live your best life or connect with those you are meant to serve.
Today is the day to ditch negative self-talk.
STOP being your own worst critic.
You’ve heard me talk about this before:
- 80% of your self-talk is repetitive.
- Research shows that up to 90% of that self-talk is negative.
That means YOUR OWN WORDS are working against you rather than for you!
It’s time to take control and slay your self-talk into submission.
Start with LOVING and honoring the magnificent, vibrant woman you are today. You have invested so much in becoming her! You passionately continue to work on and embrace becoming the best version of yourself every single day. That deserves some serious love-filled self-talk!
Then slow down and listen to your self-talk.
Really listen.
In true “Fire Up Your Moxie” style, the next step is to flip your negative thoughts.
Flip them for yourself, your family, your community, and for this world.
You are worthy of loving yourself. Truly love the image in the mirror. Smile at her and encourage her. Give her a moxielicious wink!
My dearests, please remember other people’s opinions of you are none of your business or concern.
Your opinion of yourself can change the world around you.
Next time you hear negative thoughts running through your mind – take them captive and replace them with words of affirmation and encouragement. Steward your self talk… and sing yourself a love song today!
I am divinely loved.
I am brilliant.
I am brave.
I am beautiful.
I am enough.
I am worthy of love, joy and R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
Are you singing w/Aretha style sass?
Me, too!
Cheers!
