Fear Fuels Courage – Affirmation 13

My Dearest Pride,

Fear is a liar. It has the ability to dig its claws in deep and shake us to the core… planting seeds of doubt on so many levels. Fear can be incredibly paralyzing and rob us of our divine joy and courage. Its mission is to convince us the worst things in life will destroy us and that by embracing fear itself – we can control it all.

Now is the time for you to reclaim your fear.

When you feel fear, take that as a reminder to bring your fierce curiosity to the moment. Something new (and potentially exciting) is on the other side of it. Did you know that fear of the future is so often a fear of the past repeating itself? It could be something you have personally experienced or seen someone else go through that plants that fear. Knowing this will help you flip that fear and leverage it to do good in your life and leave a positive mark on your heart, mind, body, and soul!

I also encourage you to let fear fuel your courage. Courage sees your dreams as more powerful and worthwhile than the fears keeping you from them. Courage helps you take confident steps on the unknown path ahead without demanding details and promises of perfect outcomes.

To help you start overcoming and flipping your fears, take the time to slow down ask yourself these three questions:

1: What fear-based, limiting thoughts am I thinking, right now?
2: How can I take those thoughts and flip them to work for me?
3: Who can I surround myself with to help me make that happen?
(You can go back to last week’s work and review your list of champions!)

Even if the outcome you are fearing comes to fruition, remember to keep that sense of curiosity alive throughout it and drop the belief that you can control things by fearing them.

If you can do this, you will be able to find the lessons in the failures without claiming the fear… and ultimately turn them into fuel for your courage, curiosity, and confidence!

Remember, when you take the time to truly connect to your thoughts and elevate them, you are able to live your best life OUT LOUD, on purpose, and on your own terms!

Are you ready to go confidently into your week ahead?

Me, too.
