This week’s affirmation is about being present – right here, right now..

Are you ready? Repeat after me:

I am awake and present in this moment.
My past does not have the power to define my future.

Most of your current situation is indeed the result of your past actions, choices and experiences – the fabulous and “not so helpful” ones.. 

The great news is that your future is determined by how you act in the present moment. In other words, your past does not have to define you or your future.  It only shows you the path you have already walked. You get to choose how you move forward. 

You can choose to do yourself a great injustice and allow past failures to limit your possibility for a future filled with divine successes, or you can choose to focus on the strength and determination it took to persist even amidst the harsh and unfair circumstances you experienced.

Regardless, you choose. 

Starting today – choose wisely, Lioness.

Learn from your past.

Choose to see future challenges as preparation to reach new levels of opportunity and growth.

Step up and courageously learn the lessons that prepare you as you move forward into your bright, bold future… a little wiser and more confident than yesterday!
