08 Mar International Women’s Day 2023
Happy #InternationalWomensDay!
For those who don’t know what #IWD is…
International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
I love this quote from their website:
“IWD belongs to everyone, everywhere. Inclusion means all IWD action is valid.”
Today has been the perfect whirlwind of a way to spend this special day. I woke up this morning and spoke at the East Valley Association of REALTORS to celebrate #IWD, #WomensHistoryMonth, and (of course) talk about WomanUP!®.
My talk was on the JOY of Living Aligned… choosing and using your core values to guide you…ditching the senseless hustle, listening to your soul’s whisper of what you want more of, and then putting it on your calendar… uncovering and supporting a guiding word to help you remember what matters most to you when the world pulls you into the hustle and hurry culture. It was beautiful to see the divine humans in the room experience their A-Ha moments during each slide. I love my Soul Work so deeply and do not take any of these opportunities for granted. Thank you to Karah McCormies Shaw for inviting me to speak into her vibrant, loving community. My heart was overflowing as I walked out the door.
Then, Sara, Jules (Sara’s daughter), Melanie, and I made the drive down to Oceanside to walk the location of the 2023 #WomanUP reTREAT – The Seabird. We toured our space and vision cast what we would host in each nook and cranny. The main stage… the shared meals… the introverts lounge… registration… wine tasting… yoga… meditation… THIS is going to be an incredible experience for each and every attendee. If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, visit IamWomanUP.com.
I also took some quiet time to reflect on the day with a walk along the beach. The ocean heals me and reminds me to slow down and center myself.
As I stood gazing into the mighty ocean, I thought about all of the divine women in my life. Here are 15 women I have interviewed in the last year… Please take some time to click on their names, learn about them, and listen to their wisdom!

We talked about what is on her heart right now, the first book that Molly and I spoke about on the Spill the Tea show back in 2020 – Burning Woman, her company – Womancraft Publishing, and so much more.
Lacey Lybecker is a beloved soul sister. She is the President, Owner, and “The Glue” @CairdeasWinery. Lacey also rocks the role of Boy Mom! Her 2022 word and theme was AUDACIOUS and we dug deep into that – as well as her life as a winery owner, the HERstory she is making in the wine industry here in WA state, and so much more.
Tara-Nicholle – First Chat
Tara-Nicholle Kirke – Second Chat
Tara-Nicholle Kirke joined Molly and me on the Spill the Tea show to talk about our cards and what she is up to… we talked for an hour on topics like what we wanted to be when we were wee lassies, what inspired Tara-Nicholle to change her last name to Kirke – and SO MUCH MORE! She joined us for a second chat and shared so much more wisdom!
Listen in on our conversation about her story and her fabulous book “100 Things I Love About You”! True to Marguerite’s tough-love personal style, this book is a step-by-step, guided notebook encouraging readers to look inward, discover their own agency, reignite the foundations of their relationship and find their way back to love.
We talked about Mary Magdalene and books and being authors, and so much more. Jacci loves chocolate, babies, and coffee with friends. She’s worn many hats in her lifetime: therapist, school counselor, campus minister, and mom. Her favorite hats are her writer and grandmother hats, which come in wild colors and don’t fit too tightly.
During this chat, we talk about the highlights of the conference (it is happening this week), as well as her journey to becoming an Empowerment Mentor, Clinical Herbalist, her passion for LUXURY, and how she defines herself and her success.
Coni is passionate about helping and creating mindful, visionary leaders that can overcome any crisis and disaster. Her unique background combined with her experience as a FEMA inspector and trainer gives her an all-encompassing perspective for creating this certification. She saw a need to educate and prepare as many individuals as possible for all disasters. And so CKM was born!
