This week’s affirmation is about embracing confidence as our superpower.
Are you ready? Repeat after me:
Self-confidence is a superpower I strengthen every day.
When I believe in myself, magic happens.
This week, there are two things I want to focus on with you.
1: Believe that you matter in the lives of others.
When you believe in yourself, you start to see your actions in many different ways and from different vantage points.
I want to encourage you to take a moment to recognize how your efforts impact others in a positive way. This will help to remind you of how important you are to your community and boost your self-confidence to superhero levels!
Need help? Try this:
Hop onto LinkedIn or your FB Biz page and read the reviews and recommendations from others… click over to your “praise page” on your website where you host notes from your raving fans. Don’t have any of these sites or pages yet… Call your Mama, your bestie, your partner – and let them speak life into you right now. Sit there and listen to them.
Soak it in.
2: Take action towards your goals every single day.
Are you feeling filled with fear about failing or not accomplishing your goals?
Is your self-talk filled with more “what ifs” than “even ifs”?
Friend, I encourage you to let your fear fuel you UP and into action!
The progressive power of each success is so often underestimated. Society tells us we must want and seek instant gratification to be happy and tries to convince us that it is only when we accomplish the end goal that we can feel that way. Stopping to relax and revel along the path is labeled lazy or considered a distraction from your legacy. We must hustle to be worthy. Womp womp.
Try this instead:
Choose a small activity you have been putting off – maybe it is calling a potential new client that was referred to you or unpacking from your last business trip.
Now, do it. Yes, do it NOW. Want to push pause and check it off your list? Go for it… I will be here when you get back!
If you are feeling unmotivated, try the Mel Robbin’s 5-Second Rule that I shared about back in Moxie Affirmation 28 and 5-4-3-2-1 yourself to taking action.
Then what?
Choose another item on that “to do” list and do it right away or take it slowly and try another one tomorrow… and the next day…. and the next. The most important part of the process is to build up to the bigger, hairier, more audacious actions and goals as you go!
Building your self-confidence one step, one action at a time!
Now, go out and slay your fears and tame your to-do list, Lioness.
